Maleic Modified Rosin Ester

Maleic Modified Rosin Ester is a irregular transparent, light color solid, getting from esterification of maleic rosin adduct and polyols.  

Properties

It can dissolve in ester, non-alcohol solvents (toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, …), turpentine oil; partially soluble in petroleum products; mix well with plant oils; light color; resistant to yellowing; heat resistant; good adhesion power.

Applications

For improve hardness of paint films, gloss, rubbing property for polyesters, nitro and PU paints; in production of phenolic paints. It can be mixed and melt with petroleum resin and EVA for producing hot-melt road marking paint.

Packing and Storage

Form in pellet; 25kgs Net in paper bag with plastic inner liner. Dry and cool storage; avoid oxidants environment.
